Lasttier
Viele vom Menschen domestizierte Tiere wurden als Last- und Zugtier für Schlitten und Wagen eingesetzt. Der Mensch (»homo portans«) als Gepäckträger wurde entlastet und damit beweglicher. Jede Nutzung setzte technische Mittel voraus, also Transportmittel wie Seile, Körbe, Beutel, Säcke und Zurrmittel, die die Last an das Tier banden und es führten. Nachstehende Tabelle gibt die Nutzung für Reise- und Transportzwecke an und blendet die Tiernutzzung hinsichtlich Wolle, Leder, Fleisch, Milch etc. aus
