At all events, we may be sure that Mr. Green's corrections must have been of importance. Some parts are entirely new, for instance the Dutch voyages to East-India in the 17th volume; these are not in the edition of Paris. The plates and maps of de Hondt's edition are likewise partly new, or bear at least considerable corrections; most of them are due to the well-known engraver J. van der Schley.
